Welcome to Year 3
Our concept this term is ‘Humanity’ and our big question is ‘Am I lucky to be able to go to school?’
As part of our topic we will be looking at the role of children through Welsh history. We will be exploring the role of children in the coal mines, factories and other jobs that they may have had. We will compare the lives of children in the past to our rights as children in 2022.
Reading – Darllen
Please encourage your child to develop good reading habits by reading regularly at home.
Physical Education – Addysg Gorfforal
Our P.E. session is on Friday. P.E. kit should be worn to school (tracksuit bottoms/shorts/leggings, t-shirt/hoodie and trainers).
We also participate in the Daily Mile where we encourage every child to run or walk approximately one mile, come rain or shine.
Snack -Byrbrydau
A variety of snacks are offered during morning break at the cost of 30p per day.
Odd Socks Day – We rocked our odd socks on Odd Socks Day as a start to Anti-Bullying Week.
Halloween Disco
Shwmae su’mae Day – We celebrated Shwmae Su’mae day and tried to start every conversation with shwmae.
